                     MISSION STATEMENT
Since 1995, Salt Lake Metro has provided comprehensive player   development programs for individuals who seek to play high  school and college basketball at the highest level.

The goal of Salt Lake Metro is simple:

Develop the best basketball players                in the Intermountain West at all levels.

Whatever your basketball aspirations may be Salt Lake Metro will provide you with your best opportunity to maximize your abilities as a high school player or potential college recruit.

Here are the reasons for our success:
  • Salt Lake Metro's basketball teams are nationally recognized.
  • Attendance at elite tournaments nationwide allows our players to play and compete against the top players in the nation.
  • Head coach Dave Hammer has twelve years of experience at various college levels, coaching, developing, recruiting and evaluating players.

As a result, over 141 former Salt Lake Metro boys players and 117 girls players have gone on to play at the collegiate level.

62 boys players and 64 girls players have received NCAA division one (d-1) scholarships.

Nine Utah Mr. Basketball,  one boy's Utah Gatorade Player of the Year, three Utah Ms. Basketball and five girl's Utah Gatorade Players of the Year award winners trained and competed for  Salt Lake Metro.
