The Intermountain West's premier club basketball program
NOTE TO OUR PLAYERS/PARENTS: Many of our male student-athletes would like to continue their careers and play college basketball. It is our goal to assist you in that process. With more than 200+ players that have moved on to the next level from our programs we would like to assist and educate the potential college athletes, coaches and parents. To help understand the recruiting process, the NCAA has come out with a publication, NCAA Guide for the College-Bound Student Athlete, which is designed to assist and educate you as to your rights and responsibilities as a recruited athlete. If you are contacted by a college coach or you contact a college coach, it is important you and your parents should be aware of these guidelines.
There are various levels of collegiate opportunity available. Some levels give athletic scholarships, others rely on a combination of financial aid, academic and athletic scholarships. The information on this site is invaluable. Please feel free to share it with others in the basketball community. Any questions from Metro players/parents concerning the recruiting process and our individual assistance should be directed to:
Dave Hammer, Director of Basketball Operations by e-mail at saltlakemetrohoops@comcast.net .
